After downloading your app from Fdroid, I discovered that it didn't find my entire music library. I searched for a setting that would allow me to specify where to find it, but didn't find anything. What's confusing is that all my music is stored on my SD card in one folder. If your app could find part of my library, why couldn't it find all of it, when it's in the same place?

https://sunsetware.org/phocid/help/en#help-file-source Other than special characters, your [format might be unsupported](https://sunsetware.org/phocid/help/en#help-formats) or your [MediaStore hasn't refreshed](https://sunsetware.org/phocid/help/en#help-missing-new-files).

What do you mean by Media store? I haven't encountered such a thing before. Until I can find another media player that can scan the SD card containing my music library, I'm using Musicoclet. But due to a play back issue that they haven't been able to fix, I'm having to look for a new one. Please let me know if I can do anything to help you help me. Having a media player that allows me acess my 80 GB music library, is a very high priority in my life.
Thank you.

Mike

If you have actually read through the help article I linked, you'll know its a black-box media file database managed by your system, and I have no control over its behavior (other than being able to refresh it). Have you tried pressing the "rescan library" button in the top-right three-dot menu inside Phocid which triggers a MediaStore refresh?

If that still doesn't work, please provide a example of a undiscovered file path (which might look like /sdcard/Music/a.mp3 or sdcard > Music > a.mp3, found in your file explorer).

Having a media player that allows me acess my 80 GB music library, is a very high priority in my life.

According to user feedback, Phocid is bad at handling a large library on a SD card (because its design sacrificed performance in favor of advanced tagging support), so you might want to use other players anyway.
