I'm playing music to Bluetooth speakers in livingroom. Occasionally (once or twice in an afternoon?), I'll get a rather loud POP sound. Only once.

I thought it was an issue with the MP3 file, but if I replay the same section that had the pop, its not there.

I've tried to duplicate the issue using other music apps, but so far I can't get it to happen. But that is still a variable.

It seems be a new issue. This may be too random an issue to resolve now, but I'll at least report it here in case someone else has a similar observation.
